For years I told people what I was going to do and who I was going to be. Know what this got me? Nothing absolutely nothing…
I was caught up in convincing people that I was killing it and winning and it was all talk. I loved the feeling when people said you’re awesome, you must be on top of the world etc… etc…
Telling people how well I was doing or going to do was constantly replacing the actual work. It hid how bad I was actually doing and made people around me see me as someone I was not.
In truth, all it really did was make me miserable, stressed out and had me living paycheck to paycheck.
When I learned to shut up, stop talking and actually execute on the work, life started moving.
When you execute you don’t have time to talk, brag or inflate your life.
When you execute the habits that will grow your life, the results start speaking and hush your insecurities.
It’s execution, not words. Do the things you know you should do and let your actions do the talking for you.
